Caroline & Jack’s Wedding at Oak Island, North Carolina | All the Fimly Vibes | Documentary Style

Caroline and Jacks wedding took place at Oak Island, North Carolina. Full of hugs, side glances, and small hand holds all throughout.

Getting Ready:

The bride and groom got ready at different AirBNBs at Oak Island to have their personalized times with their bridesmaids and groomsmen (which meant me and my second shooter were going house to house and snapping all of the shots) At the Girls house, there was a lot of singing to Chappel Roan, and of course some oldies like Ke$ha and and Sweet Caroline (hint hint the brides name)

Ceremony + First Look

Caroline’s first look with her dad was incredibly special. It happened just before the ceremony, outside the church, as her mother and twin sister looked on with heartfelt smiles.

The ceremony itself was held at a beautiful Catholic church I had never visited before, and it was truly exquisite. The stained glass above the altar cast colorful light across the space, while the towering pews and rich traditions added to the atmosphere. Some of Caroline’s favorite people, including a few bridesmaids, stood to sing during the service, and their angelic voices filled the room. I noticed several teary eyes in the audience. This truly and deeply moved me.

One of the most meaningful moments was the reverent bowing each person did before the preacher as they approached the altar. It was such a respectful and heartfelt tradition.

After the Ceremony Pictures

We took pictures right after the ceremony at the Reception and WOW. This reception was right off the beach and you could go down to the ocean and just feel the wind. At times the wind blew at just the right moment and took ahold of Caroline’s veil and the pictures were AHHHH! One of my favorite receptions to date.

The Reception + First Dances

One word to describe the reception: WOW. Caroline’s entire party danced the night away!! I love love al the film vibes in these photos!
